Since Tom was a child, he had dreamed of becoming a successful Airline Pilot. His successes in life he accredits to the strong disciplines instilled by his family. Tom's early childhood memories are with his father that served in the Air Force. Tom would spend a lot of time on the flight deck of B52 Bombers. He used to stare in amazement at the endless display of buttons and switches required to operate such a unique piece of equipment.
Through his father's tours he spent eight years in Spokane, Washington and the next ten years in Anchorage, Alaska where he grew into a young man. At the age of 17, he joined the U.S. Army to fly helicopters. Tom would spend the next 6 1/2 years flying for the Army and simultaneously was racking up hours in fixed wing aircraft obtaining his ratings. He flew for the State of Hawaii and conducted countless DEA Counter Narcotic missions in the mid 90's.
Tom moved on and flew for US Airways for 8 1/2 years, seven of those as a Captain. He has flown for EOS Airlines, flying across the Atlantic to Europe. Tom is currently flying with United Airlines as a first officer on the 737, based in Denver, Colorado. He has recently trained pilots in Uruguay, South America.
Tom has flown more than 10,000 hours and has ratings in the 767, 757, 737, CL65, and the DO328.
With the recent airlines economy changing, Tom has volunteered a furlough position with United and comes on board CMM as the VP of Business Development. With Tom's years of leadership in the military, serving here and abroad, he has experience in leadership and has great marketing potential. Tom will assist in bringing in sponsors for CMM's clients and new business potentials. His passion for flight spills into everyday life and he strives to bring that passion into the marketing field and make a difference with our Clients and our potential sponsors. Tom is happily married and they have a beautiful three month old daughter as an addition to their family.
