Wally Dallenbach

Wally Dallenbach is one of America's premier road racers. From his humble beginnings as the 1985 SCCA Trans-Am Champion to his Four time wins of the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona, one of the best records in the history of the 24 Hours of Daytona.

Wally has earned the admiration of American racing fans by conducting himself as a gentleman, both on and off the track. Throughout his career Wally has been sought by not only the top car owners, but by the sport's top sponsors, as well. Wally has totaled over $5 Million in career winnings. In 1999, Wally had numerous top five and top 10 finishes in the NASCAR Winston Cup series behind the wheel of the #25 Budweiser car, owned by Rick Hendricks Championship team.

In 2001, NBC lured Wally away from full time driving and into the Broadcast Booth as NBC's expert on camera Commentator. This year Wally will divide his time between professional driving for Ortega Motorsports in a Pro-Lite and professional broadcasting in the booth for NBC covering the Championship Off Road Racing Series.

Dallenbach's racing career spans more than 20 years with more than 300 starts and 27-plus wins in some of the most competitive racing series in the world, including the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, NASCAR Busch Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, IMSA GTS and GTU, Champ Car and SCCA Trans-Am. Dallenbach has driven for some of the biggest names in racing, including Jack Roush, Rick Hendrick and Richard Petty, among others.

Wally has his own segment during the CORR Series NBC coverage titled Wally's World. Wally whips around the track in an Off Road vehicle equipped with two seats. Wally is accompanied by a known Celebrity and tells the viewers at home the track conditions and the layout of the facility.
